Blue Jeans and Leather

Well, my last choker for a while since the weather is nice and I have wood carvings to do. Still, this one was fun.

I didn't realize the vintage button was going to reflect light so much when I scanned it. The glass in the button is original--and the whole thing I think is like from the 50's or so.

So I paired this massive metal thing with a backing of vintage lace, recycled blue jeans, a rich chocolate brown pig suede, 2 shades of bronze and gold glass seed beads, a vintage button for a clasp, and cotton lace.

It was a bear to sew--but it the result was worth it. I made it bigger to fit me.
